Changes
So, I have made a few changes to my magazine after conducting more research on my style model 'MOJO Magazine'. I have decided that a house style of black and white looks more professional and clean. I have applied these changes to my front cover, contents page and double page spreads and they all in working progress. The reason I have made these changes is because the magazine wasn't relating to the style models, that I have been working from.This is still unfinished but here I have removers the white background and replaced it with a black, this background actually has a gradient but you can not see it as the main image blocks it out. Each piece of text has a drop shadow effect because this gives it a stable backgrounds and it stands out among the other colours on the cover.
I have used my style model as a basic guide to designing this magazine cover, using similar cursive fonts and masthead font. The image is a similar one to the style model and i have picked a similar colour scheme. I have more or less the same amount of text on the cover and the same conventions, for example the barcode and the main headline,.
